NUVU Nissan model

Nissan always has some genuinely Japanese concepts on its stands to please and amaze the visitors and it was no different this time. Nuvu new view is what Nissan thinks a city car should be like in the year 2015. Less than three metres long, the Nuvu may be small in size, but it’s clever in terms of space management. Apart from the driver’s seat, there’s an offset passenger seat towards the rear, plus another one that nicely tucks in towards the dash when not required and slides rearwards to accommodate a third passenger. A stylish tree trunk beside the rear seat conceals some electric wizardly ment to power the electric panels in the roof. The interior utilizes a lot of organic and recycled materials. The battery powered car, according to Nissan officials will run for 125km before running out of energy and hit a top speed of 120km/h.The Nuvu not going to hit production in the near future but another smaller EV from Nissan featuring similar electric tech is very much on the cards by 2010.
