Skoda is ready to launch its Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) ‘Yeti’ of mass production in India. Skoda the automobile manufacturer has rolled out the first unit of Yeti hatchback-SUV crossover at its Kvasiny plant in the Czech Republic. The Yeti models were tested in Norway with new technologies which will be suitable for the Indian roads. Road conditions experienced by the testing team include forest roads and steep hills.
Yeti SUV is four wheel drive model which is equipped with 1.8-litre TSI petrol engine and 2.0 TDI diesel engines with tweaked engine capacity but at present for the International markets petrol and diesel models are produced. Yeti SUV constructed on 2578 mm wheel base with the dimensions of length- 4233 mm, width- 1793 mm and height of 1691 mm. The Yeti SUV models are environmental friendly and economical with low fuel consumption and co2 emissions and the engines are equipped with turbochargers. The expected price ranges around 11 lakhs.

UCI Mountain Bike World Championships 2009

USA Cycling has announced a team of 43 riders for the upcoming UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Canberra, Australia, 1-6 September.

In the men’s cross country stakes, national champ Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski (Subaru-Gary Fisher) was an automatic nomiation. He will be joined by Adam Craig (Giant), Todd Wells (Specialized), Sam Schultz (Subaru-Gary Fisher), Michael Broderick (Kenda), Carl Decker (Giant) and Sam Jurekovic (Sho-air-Specialized).

The women’s squad sees automatic selections Willow Koerber (Subaru-Gary Fisher), Mary McConneloug (Kenda) and Heather Irmiger (Subaru-Gary Fisher) joined Georgia Gould (Luna), Katie Compton and Judy Freeman. I hope this championship will be very interesting. Willow koerbar my favorite, best of luck willow.

Presently there are many car companies manufacturing different cars according to people needs.
